Precision and quality
Camtronic Oy is a Finnish machining company for which precision is a prime concern. Our customer base comprises major international companies in the telecom industry, with which we operate on a principle of partnership. Camtronic is a result-driven, flexible company with long-term machining experience.
The company's core strengths are reliability, expertise, flexibility, experience and partnership relations. Camtronic is efficient and adaptable. Know-how arising from decades of experience, state-of-the-art technology and partners of choice are the elements enabling us to deliver superior precision, while close interaction with customers guarantees the specified products and quality.
Life cycle thinking
The prime service provided by Camtronic builds on a product life cycle approach.
The company becomes involved from the design stage onward by providing technical
support to its customers. Camtronic produces the prototype, i.e. the first
tangible version of a product, after which follows a 0-series run comprising a
few dozen items. Once production facilities have been set up at the ramp-up
stage, serial production can begin. Camtronic remains involved up to annual
volumes of 20,000-50,000 units.
The company specialises in the machining of aluminium and plastics and it is
capable of producing items of a maximum size of 350 x 450 mm. Its product and
service concept consists of the manufacture of products to customer
specifications, including machining, partial assembly and logistics.
Cost savings through materials management
Properly planned materials management results in costs savings to the customer
by minimising expenditure on materials. Camtronic provides the necessary cut
slabs and utilises aluminium profiles designed in collaboration with the
customer. Material wastage is thus reduced to a minimum, and operations are also
environmentally friendly. All waste aluminium is recycled, other waste is sorted
appropriately at origin and plastic waste is used to produce energy.
